Fire Fighter Cliff McNeely has been a member of Madison Hose Company No. 1 Inc. for over 27 years. Over those years, Cliff has dedicated countless hours as a volunteer protecting the town of Madison through the fire service. Cliff is one of the best Pump Operator’s the company has and he has trained many of the new drivers on how to be an efficient and effective pump operator. Cliff has always been an avid parade goer and has played a major part in organizing the department for parades in town and around the state. We are proud to volunteer beside Cliff who has giving so much back to the community.
On July 5, 2011 Cliff’s daughter, Allyson McNeely, followed in her father’s footsteps and joined Madison Hose Company No. 1 Inc. as the first female Fire Fighter the company has ever had. Truly a proud moment for Cliff to have his daughter share in his aspirations to help the community and for all of us to welcome a new member who has grown up with the fire service all around. Like her father, Ally has contributed many hours training and learning about the fire service and giving back to the community.
Recently Cliff was diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing hours of treatment. The McNeely family is having a benefit dinner to raise money to help with the medical expenses.
Please help us support Cliff and his family in their efforts and attend the benefit dinner. If you are unable to attend donations can be made by contacting one of these members of Cliff’s family; Bill at 860-227-6190, Marilyn at 860-510-1368 or Ally at 203-824-4679. Donations can also be mailed to Madison Hose Company No. 1 Inc. at P.O. Box 573 Madison, CT 06443 with attn: Cliff McNeely Benefit Dinner.
