On Wednesday, June 27, 2012 the Madison Hose Company #1, North Madison Volunteer Fire Company, and the Madison Ambulance Association hosted a program for elected officials known as FIRE OPS 101.
This program included hands-on firefighting and rescue operations under the controlled supervision of firefighters and EMS personnel. Participants learned exactly how challenging it is to keep our community safe.
Selectman Al Goldberg, and Board of Finance members Jennifer Tung and Sandy McKissick experience what firefighters and EMS personnel face on a daily basis.
